DATES ANNOUNCED FOR NATIONAL ETHICAL INVESTMENT WEEK 2012
NEIW 2012 will take place 14th-20th October
UKSIF, the sustainable investment and finance association, has today announced the dates of the fifth annual National Ethical Investment Week (NEIW). NEIW 2012 will take place from 14th-20th October.
NEIW 2011, which took place last week, showed the growing interest in green and ethical investment and finance from consumers, financial advisers and faith groups. It saw the launch of the first NEIW guide for charities as well as new action guides for financial advisers and church groups. Over 100 organisations supported the Week and over 35 events and activities took place.
Penny Shepherd MBE, UKSIF Chief Executive, said:
“NEIW 2011 demonstrated how green and ethical investment and finance is appealing to a widening range of consumers. In particular, we saw increased interest from people looking to ‘dip their toe in the water’. NEIW also highlighted the depth and breadth of modern green and ethical investment products and approaches now available.
“NEIW continues to engage increasing numbers of organisations and supporters each year and we look forward to working with advisers, financial organisations, faith groups, NGOs and others to ensure that NEIW 2012 is an even bigger success.”
Advisers and others can register their interest in NEIW 2012 at www.neiw.org.
